TRAVEL

In order to travel to the Bahamas from the USA you will need a Passport. Details on how to obtain a Passport can be found on the Department of State website (travel.state.gov). Flights should be booked into the Nassau International Airport (NAS). As part of your Sandals all inclusive package roundtrip airport transportation to and from the resort is included. Arrangements for your airport transfers are handled directly by Sandals and no action on your part is required. Immediately outside of customs at the Nassau airport you will find a Sandals desk. A representative will lead you to an air-conditioned shuttle bus that will take you directly to the resort. It is only a 15 minute ride to the resort from the NAS airport. For those that have reserved select categories of butler service rooms you will have private airport transfers by Mercedes Benz or Rolls Royce. A limousine is also available at an additional cost for all guests. When departing the Bahamas and traveling back to the U.S. be certain to arrive at the airport for your departure 2.5 - 3 hours in advance as you will need to pass through customs.

WEATHER

Caribbean temperatures are warm year-round. Daytime average: 82°F, 28°C. Nighttime average: 72°F, 22°C. I would suggest bringing a light jacket for the evenings as in February it gets a little cool at night.

ATTIRE

Resort casual by day and resort elegant by night. While the sun is up casual wear, shorts, tank tops, and swimsuits, is the perfect attire. As the sun sets and you set out to enjoy the evening proper attire, full-length pants and collared shirts, is required for most of the Sandals restaurants.
