Randi and Matt decided that a vacation was needed and set off to Playacar Mexico in March on 2016. Matt knew this would be the perfect time to propose to Randi. To say that Matt was nervous is an understatement. He hide the ring in his backpack and off they went to Mexico. Once they arrived they had lunch to pass some time due to the room was not ready yet. Randi told Matt to let the front desk have his backpack and they would put it in the room when it was ready with the rest of the luggage. He told her that he would rather just keep it knowing the ring was in it and was not going to let it out of his sight! The room was finally ready and they were both ready to change and have a drink. They got to their room and went to the private roof top that overlooked the ocean. Matt knew this was the spot to get on his knee and tell Randi he wanted to spend the rest of his life with her. So he made up an excuses on why he need to go back downstairs. He grabbed the ring and headed back upstairs. Randi was sitting down enjoying her drink and soaking in the amazing view that they had. Matt walked over to her and asked her to stand up. Once she did he got on his knee to ask Randi to be his wife! We are still not sure who cried more!!
