Larry & I met at Kirby High School. I was class of 2007. He was class of 2004. He was a football and basketball player. I was a cheerleader. It was not an instant connection, and no we are not your traditional "high school sweethearts". One day after practice we ran into one another and we had a short conversation (he swears that I suggested we be more than friends lol. I don't remember that). Anywho, we got to know each other a little better but nothing serious came of it. We parted ways and we both went off to college. He went to Tennessee Tech and I went to MTSU. One day, years later as I was walking across campus from class, I received a text from him. He stated that he just wanted to see how I was doing and how I had been. Who knew that would be the beginning of "us". Our first date was IHOP....yes IHOP. So ladies, there is faith, a mediocre beginning can be a happy ending. Hahaha. The rest was history. ❤️
