Thank you for visiting our Honeymoon Registry!

Our story began in February of 2007. Tyler and I met on the Leavitt Alpine ski team. We started by hanging out as teammates then as just friends and then one day he asked if I would be his girlfriend! We skied together for the remainder of my senior year, I made a fool of myself every time he would bring my jacket and ski pants down to the bottom of the mountain after my race, and he would blush whenever I would give him a peck on the cheek when he would finish his race. We continued to have a great relationship while I was away at the University of Maine Orono, talking to each other as much as we could, (ask my college roommate, Kristen how often we talked! She used to tease us all the time!) and seeing each other whenever possible, while Tyler was living with my parents in Greene! Tyler worked and skied through high school and finished high school in 2009, where he began to work full time at Maine Oxy on second shift. I graduated college in 2011, started working at HpHood Dairy as a Quality Control Lab Technician and we began our hunt for a house on opposite schedules. We ended up with our home in Auburn, after touring 30 houses, on November 1st, 2011.

We have been supportive in each others career changes, whether it was when I decided to leave the big corporate world and go back to work with mum at The Meadows in Greene, or when Tyler decided to leave his longest working career of 7 years at Maine Oxy to switch fields completly to work at Simard and Sons.

We got engaged at our second Eric Church concert in the "pit" of the concert to our long time favorite song, Guys Like Me. Tyler was standing behind me and was singing, and we were dancing, and as he was singing along with the lyrics, he said to me "would you marry a guy like me?" I immediately whipped around and said "Excuse me?" He replied with "You heard me, will you marry me?" I said, "You sure?" and he said "Hell Yeah? What do you think?" As he was putting this perfectly beautiful unique ring on my finger! I just started screaming, and eventually after being so shocked, nodded and screamed YES! As 9 of our friends that went with us were all recording or taking pictures of this very emotional and loud event. Come to find out Tyler's best friend, Joe Hogan, knew about this event ahead of time. As did my friend Kristen Camic, who Tyler had called to confirm that the way he was asking was appropriate, she obviously said it was a great idea! I called my Mum from the concert, and she was concerned she needed to call an ambulance because I was screaming so much. She was happy eventually when I could calmly tell her what had just happened.

We enjoy concerts of all types, camping, fishing, ice fishing, skiing, vacationing, and trying new foods and drinks together. As much as we like to share our time together we also like to celebrate the things that make us unique, as you'll see in our wedding. We enjoy time with friends and of course Daisy, our black lab.
Thank You for joining us in the beginning of our new adventure!
