In this combination tour you will visit Amsterdam for an extensive bus excursion. You will see all Amsterdam has to offer, from the historical monuments in the centre to the modern architecture of the 21st century. A picture stop at a windmill at the river Amstel and a visit to a diamond factory are included. We will also take you to the former Island of Marken. In this village you will visit a clogmaker and explore this traditional Dutch village. Another part of the tour is the windmill village 'de Zaanse Schans', with its characteristic green wooden houses. On the turn of the 18th century this district was an industrial area with approximately 700 windmills in use. In this day and age there are only five left.
