Hiking the Pitons

Towering nearly 3,000 feet above sea level, the majestic peak of Gros Piton, along with its twin peak Petit Piton, dominates the western coast of St Lucia. The lush green slopes of these pyramid shaped icons rise from the sapphire blue waters of the Caribbean, filling us with wanderlust. The view itself is a classic—the Pitons of Saint Lucia, soaring straight up from the sea's edge. A visit to the Pitons is decidedly one of things we must do in our lifetime. Snaking up the misty, jungle-covered, boulder-strewn mountainside for the huge views from the top is an experience well worth the hike. Afterwards, we will head to a rest stop for a sumptuous lunch of local delicacies and a refreshing swim in the majestic Caribbean Sea.

We will be exploring the incredibly gorgeous countryside of St. Lucia on horseback. We'll amble through a tropical rainforest atop a sleek, gentle mare or serene stallion. We'll ride along a cliff and feast our eyes on panoramic vistas of the St. Lucian coastline with the aquamarine ocean sparkling in the island sunshine. Then we'll prepare ourselves for a totally unique experience, as we mount cross the white sand of a pristine beach and enter the warm waters of the Caribbean. Next, we will trot through the crystal seas together and enjoy the ride of our life.

Experiencing the world's only drive-in volcano surrounded by bubbling sulfur springs, before taking a dip in the mineral mud baths! We will then make our way to a picturesque waterfall where we can plunge in for a rejuvenating swim.
