We're getting married!

Our relationship started as friends in church.  We were best friends for a few years, always being able to tell each other anything and never seeing how the relationship would deepen into a much stronger love. Our families were also like best friends and sometimes we would all hang out together.  By the time we  both knew we wanted to be together (she knew it before him), Makenzie’s family had a vacation planned and invited Adam, fully aware that Adam was going to ask Makenzie to be his girlfriend.  Makenzie had no idea that Adam had been invited because she had to fly back and forth from the beach to attend a cheer camp...when she got off the airplane to join her family again for vacation, Adam was there with her parents to surprise her!  And on that night (July 30th), on the beach, Adam asked her to be his girlfriend.

Our relationship only got better from there. We would date all through high school and became engaged on June 22, 2017.  We knew our wedding date had to be special and decided that July 30, 2018 would be perfect as it's exactly 4 years from the day Adam asked Makenzie to be his girlfriend.
